Legos, Legos. Everywhere!!!

Raise your hand if you have ever stepped on a Lego! I, myself, have stepped on more than I can count and they hurt like crazy. In our old house, Luke had an entire area in the basement devoted to Legos and I very rarely ventured in there out of fear for my poor feet. In this new, much smaller house, we needed to come up with a plan that would keep those little pieces off the floor and out of the way.

Because Luke’s Lego collection is quite extensive, it is really difficult to find much in terms of an easy solution for keeping those little buggers out of the way and organized. I think we have come up with a good solution, though.

I guess I can’t personally take credit for coming up with this idea. It was actually Ryan who thought of it. At first I thought it was a little crazy as the bins are actually for nails, screws, and other misc. garage storage, but they really do work well.

We were still working on organizing the Legos when I took this picture!

From a thrift standpoint, these were not cheap @ close to $100 each, but from a mental health and organization standpoint, the are well worth every penny. I like that they are slim so they don’t take up a great deal of space, but hold a ton of Legos. And, yes I know, we could have a Lego store in our basement because there are so many Legos!
